On 28 January, we’re joining forces with Reschool Project in a knowledge-transfer session focused on citizen engagement and innovative participation tools such as serious games.
Why citizen engagement?
The energy transition can only succeed if it is shared and inclusive, yet its growing complexity often makes concepts like energy balancing and flexibility difficult for citizens to grasp.
How can this engagement succeed?
Interactive approaches, like serious games, offer promising ways to engage citizens playfully while supporting understanding, dialogue, and reflection.
Two experts, one session:
Our project partner Itziar Vidorreta (Cluster GAIA) and our guest Carolina Carranza (Diputació de Girona) are experts in citizen engagement activities, both are sharing the conviction that informed and engaged citizens are better equipped to contribute actively to a more resilient, fair, and sustainable energy system.
You’re interested in hearing more about citizen engagement and it’s successes and difficulties? We’re glad to welcome you on the 28th!
